We play an active role in Québec's economic, social, and cultural development.
Professor Shuhui Sun from the INRS Énergie Matériaux Télécommunications Research Centre is one of three recipients of the 2017-2018 Electrochemical Society (ECS) and Toyota Young Investigator Fellowship for innovative research in electrochemistry and renewable energy. He is the first Canadian scholar to win this $50,000 grant that encourages young professors to pursue research in green energy technology.

Sun won for his research project that aims to design highly active and stable platinum-free electrocatalysts for PEM fuel cells in electric vehicles. His research paves the way for new technology that will help in the development of the next generation of vehicles.
Congratulations to Professor Sun for this recognition of his creativity and innovative work!
