Research interests
Professor Duchesne’s research interests focus on urban water management, including storm water and wastewater management, drinking water systems management, urban water infrastructure renewal planning, and the impact of urban water on streams, rivers, and watersheds.
Her team works on the development and application of mathematical models to simulate flows, water quality, infrastructure behaviour, etc., and algorithms and decision-making tools to improve the management of water resources and infrastructure.
