This one-of-a-kind, innovative workshop is designed to provide science and engineering students and graduates from the two schools with the skills they need for a successful career in research. Summer school will be held April 24 and 25 at \u00c9TS.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>The researcher\u2019s toolbox<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>What does a career as a science and engineering researcher entail? What are the major challenges and keys to success? To answer these questions and many more, a number of experts including scientists, engineers, and business leaders working in a variety of fields (nanotechnology, space exploration, biotechnology, tech company start-ups, and scientific communication) will take part in lectures and seminars to share their experiences, triumphs, and inspirations, and explain how they make a go of it in their respective fields of science and technology. Topics on the agenda include how to plan a career in science and engineering; why you need a mentor and how to find one; the peer review system; science communication; funding; and science and ethics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Registration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To register for summer school, fill out the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dev.inrs.ca\/english\/graduate-studies\/summer-school\/registration-form\" class=\"broken_link\">online form<\/a>. Space is limited to 100 participants, so don\u2019t wait.
