INRS<\/strong><\/a> (Institut national de la recherche scientifique) proudly unveiled its new website today, thereby reaffirming its position as a scientific leader in Quebec and abroad. <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The university\u2019s new website is more distinctive, interactive, mobile, and accessible than before, and provides a unified view of INRS\u2019s programs of study, research facilities, and scientific advances. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 1969, INRS has always sought to drive Quebec\u2019s economic, social, and cultural development through its activities while transferring knowledge and technology to the sectors in which it is active, including health, environment, water, energy, biotechnology and nanotechnology, telecommunications, urbanization, and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To pursue its mission, INRS absolutely needed a new website that was more global in outlook, accessible on all mobile platforms, and representative of a dynamic community of researchers working at the national and international level.<\/p>Luc-Alain Giraldeau, INRS Chief Executive<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

An Essential Tool<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new website reflects INRS\u2019s vision and strategic priorities. It also serves as a powerful tool for student recruitment and the development of lasting partnerships. \u201cThe website presents our master\u2019s, PhD, and postdoctoral programs, as well as our leading expertise in fields crucial to Quebec\u2019s growth,\u201d said INRS Scientific Director Pascale Champagne. \u201cWe\u2019re very proud of our new website. It furthers INRS\u2019s standing in every regard.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new site boasts a number of functionalities that improve the user experience. The Find my path<\/a> questionnaire, for example, helps future students pick a master\u2019s or PhD project and find a research supervisor. The pages devoted to INRS laboratories, research facilities, faculty members, and community news have also been enriched with users experience in mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
