This international award is in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the advancement of science and technology in environmental biotechnology. He was presented the prestigious award at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sghy.jinyiyun.net\/detail.php?fn=welcome\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Forum on Industrial Bioprocesses,<\/a>\u00a0which took place in China in May 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dev.inrs.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/NEWS_New-international-honour-for-Rajeshwar-Dayal-Tyagi_01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"476\" height=\"475\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In recent years, Professor Tyagi has earned a number of awards and distinctions in recognition of the quality of his work aimed at reducing waste and turning it into value-added products. Accolades include the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aaees.org\/e3competition-winners-2015superiorachievement.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">Superior Achievement Award<\/a>\u00a0from the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.asce.org\/templates\/award-detail.aspx?id=6690\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">ASCE State-of-the-Art of Civil Engineering Award<\/a>, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/elements.geoscienceworld.org\/content\/gselements\/6\/6\/360.full.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">Global Honour Award for Applied Research<\/a>\u00a0from the International Water Association, and the 2016 Mahatma Gandhi Pravasi Samman Award. He is also a Fellow of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.iwahq.org\/1nb\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Water Association<\/a>\u00a0and a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.
