{"id":24312,"date":"2020-09-11T16:31:01","date_gmt":"2020-09-11T20:31:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.inrs.ca\/?post_type=laboratory&#038;p=24312"},"modified":"2020-09-14T17:47:28","modified_gmt":"2020-09-14T21:47:28","slug":"doping-control-laboratory","status":"publish","type":"laboratory","link":"https:\/\/dev.inrs.ca\/en\/research\/research-facilities\/find-a-research-facilitie\/doping-control-laboratory\/","title":{"rendered":"Doping Control Laboratory"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.361), 17px);px\"><strong>The Doping Control Laboratory is the only lab in Canada accredited by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wada-ama.org\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">World Anti-Doping Agency<\/a> (WADA) and a number of international sports federations. In 1976 it was one of the first laboratories accredited by the sports community. Since 2004 WADA and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) have consistently renewed its accreditation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Doping Control Laboratory processes 15,000 samples a year to detect any of the 400 illegal drugs and doping agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Doping Control Laboratory\u2019s expertise has been sought by Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Hockey League (NHL), the Professional Tennis Association (PTA), and various Olympic Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
