He later did his postdoctoral training in biochemistry and genetics with Maya Saleh at McGill University (2010-2016). There, Dr Rodrigue-Gervais continued to study the control of cell death in infection and demonstrated how the inhibitor of apoptosis protein CIAP2 shapes the cell death defense to influenza A virus, dictating disease outcome.\u00a0Dr Rodrigue-Gervais started his own lab after joining the faculty of INRS-Institut Armand-Frappier (INRS-IAF) in the Sumer of 2016.
